Optical measurement system for tensile testing
Originally created for composite testing, the Video Gauge is fine tuned for tensile testing. Through specialised algorithms and lenses, the system performs as a class 0.5 extensometer for strains under 1%, allowing accurate yield and modulus measurements. Using tailored lenses this range can be extended for strains up to 600%, allowing the priorities to be tuned for each materials.To integrate with your testing machine, a traditional 10V DC output is possible for interfacing with traditional strain channels.
