The DIN 863 Analog Outside Micrometer is constructed with a carbide anvil 6.5 mm in diameter, a thimble diameter of 18 mm, and heat-insulating plates. Its ratchet thimble with torque limiter limits the maximum applied force. The DIN 863 comes with a gauge block key from the 806C.50 model, a pin-type calibration key, and its own plastic case packaging.
