Electrical discharge detector - TKED 1
The SKF Electrical discharge detector is a compact tool that helps in finding out if your electric motor bearings have electrical discharges. This is important especially because electric motor bearings are susceptible to damage and failure because of electrical erosion. Because the EDD pen is remotely used, it also protects the operators from risks when checking their motors, and it has a backlit LCD screen that makes it useable in the dark. It also uses the SKF technology, and does not require special training. Moreover, it can detect electrical discharges at a time base of 10 seconds, 30 seconds, or indefinitely. Also, it is graded IP55 and may therefore be used in almost all environments.
