Utilizing the latest in high performance image intensification technology, the X-sight+ provides high sensitivity for imaging even low-flux beams. The system consists of a sensor module connected by cable to a control box with integrated LCD image display. In the sensor module, X-rays are converted into visible light by use of a scintillator; the light is then amplified by an intensifier and imaged by a video camera lens coupled to the output of the intensifier. The video signal it then fed to a control and display console.
