Suiting a wide range of applications, Rigaku offers the Xsight Mneme system to provide real time visualization for general purpose X-ray imaging applications in academic and industrial settings. The standard version utilizes a phosphor optimized for imaging energies in the range 8-30 keV but versions are available suitable for higher and lower energy ranges.

High sensitivity

Utilizing the latest in CMOS imagers fiber-optically coupled with high performance image intensification, the Xsight Mneme provides high sensitivity for imaging even low-flux X-ray beams or images in real time. The system’s ability to adjust video frame rate, integration time and intensifier gain allows the Xsight Mneme to image X-rays over a wide range of input illuminations.In the sensor module, X-rays are converted into visible light by use of a scintillator. The light is then amplified by an intensifier and imaged by a CMOS video camera fiber-optically coupled to the output of the intensifier.
