Automated optical surface inspection machine - ColourBrain® Flooring
All floorboards or planks in a production line are inspected inline for the tiniest surface or edge defects. With a clock rate up to 250 pieces per minute and a speed that goes up to 120m per minute, the sorting process is performed and carried out in accordance to quality rules. Camera systems are set up for a variety of purposes: detecting deviations, monitoring product quality and triggering alarms in the event that a high number of defects is detected. As for the inspection system, the quality of each product in each shift and batch is recorded 24/7. These systems are connected to one another so that product quality can be evaluated at any given moment by the product management or quality control department. Any defect is detected and defective boards are marked and sorted out reliably.
