The Nortec 600 by Olympus is a flaw detectors which features its compact and durable design. The whole unit comes with a vivid 5.7 inch VGA display and a function for full screen mode. This device offers a highly visible and contrasting eddy current signals even with a harsh lightning condition. The device adopted different interface function from its previous model such as knob operated navigation. The interface comes with a simple menu structure which is efficient and compatible tool for most Olympus devices. Plus, the unit has four different models which offers a wide range of application. In addition, it offers a signal calibration in freeze mode enabling it to inspect quickly.

The RollerFORM is a phased array wheel probe offered by Olympus. Its designed for handling the inspection of smooth-surfaced materials and composites. An inexpensive replacement for full 2D encoding systems, this probe is an ideal alternative to immersion techniques.

Its unique tire material has been developed to ensure immersion-type ultrasonic testing. Inspection of composites with a thickness of up to 50-mm is enabled with the 25-mm water delay line. Additional advantages include amazing coupling, wide beam coverage up to 51.2-mm wide, strong signal capabilities, and acoustic impedance that is similar to water.

Ultrasonic NDT inspection device for pipes - WeldROVER™

The WeldRover is a very simple one-axis encoded scanner that gives the user with completely automated and mechanized data acquisition. It is designed in such a way that performs fast and efficient array inspections on vessel girth welds as well as ferromagnetic piping with reduced setup time and training. By configuring this scanner up to six probes for phased array, TOFD and UT inspection, one can achieve desired results.

It can support up to 6 TOFD probes along with phased array or pulse-echo inspection. It provides constant scanning with speed control for smooth data acquisition at different speeds. The motion controller allows 10 different scan speeds that range from 5mm/s to 50mm/s. The remote control is used to jog as well as constant motion in both directions. OmniScan or TomoScan FOCUS LT 1 instrumentation can generate data acquisition within less than 5 min of configuration. The four industrial magnetic wheels are used with ferromagnetic piping.
