The CL5 precision thickness gauge features a compact, rugged design with several functions for user friendly operation. The gauge precisely measures the thickness of complex geometry metal and plastic component which are otherwise difficult to inspect by conventional gauges. The gauges are capable to display ultrasounic response in real-time through optional live A-scan for proper alignment of the transducer and verify the accuracy of the test as components become more complex in shape. A standard SD card controls an optional programmable data recorder for data management. The user friendly gauge features an easy-to-understand on-screen prompts that provides intuitive operation eliminating the need of dedicated keys.
