Leeb hardness tester - 170 - 960 HL | HMM
KERN & SOHN The impact rebound sensor featured with the SAUTER HMM is accelerated by a spring against the item being tested. Depending on the hardness of the object, the module’s kinetic energy will be absorbed. The amount of speed reduction will not only be measured, it will be converted to Leeb hardness values. The unit is designed for automatic recognition of the impact sensor that is connected to the HMM. The compensation function is automatic, and enables all possible measurement directions. There is enough internal memory for up to nine data groups with up to nine values for each group. From these values, the average value of the group is formed. A wireless IR printer comes with the device for on-site printing. The precision is within 1% at 800-HLD.
