Biaxial extensometer - 3560 series
The 3560 series is manufactured by Epsilon, and is an extensometer that is highly suitable for testing an isotropic materials such as advanced composites as well as for general purpose tests like determining Poisson's ratio. It has multiple sets of dual fixtures and mechanical stops which allows testing through failure and provide a rugged unit.There is a knife edge mounting and parallel displacement which allows mounting on round or flat specimens. It has a CE-Mark approval and has a recommended excitation of 5 to 10 V DC. It also has a ≤0.15% of full scale measuring range, which depends on model.
