The device is built to inspect large objects and scan the surface of large contour parts and milling of light materials. The Galaxy Q's integated light milling function serves from a CMM machine into a milling machine and capable to create complex models even on soft surfaces such as clay. The Galaxy Q is also capable of milling precise, full-scale models, or 1/3, 1/4 and 1/8-scale designs.
