The machine is specifically suitable for the study of the growth of vegetal and plant tissues, as well as for executing of toxicity tests performed based on IRSA, OECD and ASTM procedures. The situations that can affect the growth and improvement of plants and microorganisms are initially temperature and light, in addition to the presence of water and nutritive substances.The temperature is as indicative of the climatic conditions as the supply of light is significant for the biosynthesis of cellular components. The lighting system consists of fluorescent lamps and a system for scheduling. The right equilibrium of heating, refrigeration and air circulation, incorporated with a particular geometry of the aeraulic circuit, guarantees similar temperature conditions for all samples inside the chamber.
