Karl Fischer furnace - 860 KF Thermoprep
The 860 KF Thermoprep is specially designed for thermal sample preparation in Karl Fischer titration. It is not possible to analyse numerous substances by direct Karl Fischer titration as they are not soluble, react with the Karl Fischer reagent or release their water only very slowly or not until they are heated to high temperatures. The samples are inserted into ovens using tightly sealed sample vials. The samples can then be analysed by any volumetric or coulometric KF titrator.The clearly arranged menu enables simple handling of the instrument. All the samples feature identical and reproducible conditions for precise results. Since the oven is prevented from any contamination, there is no carryover and memory effects. The device ensures simple and fast preparations.
