Laboratory liquid suction system with vacuum pump - -300 - -600 mbar | VACUSAFE
IBS - INTEGRA Biosciences Laboratory vacuum pumps are generally used to aspirate liquids such as media from cell cultures or supernatants after centrifugation. It is imperative to protect the operator and equipment from contamination using an overflow trap and filter, as it is considered good laboratory practice when disposing biological, chemical or radioactive liquid waste.

The VACUSAFE combines vacuum pump, collection bottle, overflow protection and filter in an all-in-one liquid aspiration system. The system offer the most effective method for containment of hazardous liquids by maximal personal protection. It comes with a hand operator VACUBOY and adapters which provide the flexibility to aspirate liquids from a wide range of laboratory containers including cell culture vessels and multi-well plates. It comes with a range of exciting features such as collection bottle outlets with hydrophobic filters to block hazardous aerosols, and an automatic shut-off combined with a signal when bottle is full. It is 53 x 18 x 32 cm in dimension, has a pump flow rate of 8 L/min (air), and weighs 3.4 kgs.
