Flask for cell culture - 350 / 1000 mL | CELLine
The cell culture flask CELLine is a disposable bioreactor based on two-compartment technology that permit the user to cultivate cells at highest densities and to express proteins like monoclonal antibodies at very high concentrations.A 10 kDa semi-permeable membrane separates the bioreactor CELLine into a medium and a cell compartment and allows a continuous diffusion of nutrients into the cell compartment with a concurrent removal of any inhibitory waste. Cells are supplied with fresh medium without mechanically interfering with the culture, thanks to the individual accessibility of the compartments. Optimal oxygen supply and control of carbon dioxide levels is ensured by a silicone membrane which forms the cell compartment base. High product concentration are merged with recurring product collection to obtain large amounts of highly concentrated proteins in CELLine.
A specific adaptation of the cell culture techniques or media composition is generally not required when starting to work with CELLine and both serum-supplemented or serum free media are suitable.
