PROTECT-A-PAK Single Use Indicators are among the world's most famous shipping and handling indicators. The springs used in the indicators are individually tested for optimized accuracy, reliability and calibration. The device can be armed by simply removing the "shipping plug", then affixing the indicator to the item being shipped. The armed device trips when the preset impact threshold exceeds in any direction. A mounting flange is used to attach a Protect-A-Pak indicator externally for viewing. It is possible to view a tripped indicator without even opening the package. The indicator can be used in all weather inside / outside in -100F to +155 F / -73C to +68C. The device weighs 1oz. / 28.35 grams. "G" Range 5G through 500G self adhesive backing is used for easy mounting. The device contains optimal awareness for proper handling and alerts for possible damage on delivery.
