Level alarm
An alarm system is included in the separator detects the volume of the light liquid and/or the maximum level of a liquid. This provides added safety and economic operation of separators for light liquids. This unit is also known as a petrol and oil separator. The requirements for the separator system can be found in the European standard EN 858-1. The unit adheres to the CE mark which defines the standard for a device that is used for raising an alarm when the level of the light liquid is too high or too low. The signal that the alarm produces cans be visual, acoustic or transmitted remotely through the use of potential-free relay contacts or SMS.
