These Pitot tubes can measure the dynamic pressure of a moving fluid in a duct, such as differential column or needle or electronic manometer, and then can deduct its air velocity and its airflow.Type L tubes are made up of stainless steel and have a ellipsoid shaped head. With 6 holes for static pressure, they are also equipped with an intake of total pressure. A version of type L pitot tubes has a sheath of Thermocouple K (TCK) probe that has a length of about 1.5 meters.
