Noise source - 1 - 18 GHz
This calibrated RF noise source is constructed with diode-based microwave parts that produces white noise for system performance evaluation such as noise figure. Noise generators are specially developed to be used in production and lab test areas and come in 2 different noise outputs namely medium and high sources. For noise generators possessing a maximum of 50 Ohm, Subminiature version A RF outputs and BNC bias inputs are incorporated. These devices are characterized by their frequency range that measures 1 GHz to 18 GHz. They are capable of producing a noise output of 15.5 dB and 35 dB extra noise ratio.
