B&K Precision 4080 series function generators are laboratory range and offer a broad frequency range up to 120 MHz. The versatile generators make use of direct digital synthesis (DDS) for creation of stable and precise output signals for each of the 27 integrated standard and complex arbitrary waveforms. The generators create very pure sine waves with low distortion. They deliver a full range of analog modulation features such as AM, FM, PSK, FSK, burst mode, pulse modulation, and linear and logarithmic sweep along with numerous trigger modes. The 4080 series generators are suitable for a range of all-purpose test and bench equipment. They can also be used for training purposes. They provide a large frequency range of 1 uHz up to 120 MHz for sine. They provide sine and square output. They also provide pure and stable output of signals as small as the 1 mV to 10 mV range or 50 ohms. They allow support of both internal and external modulation sources along with gated, external and internal trigger sources.
