Battery simulator - 60 W | 2302
Keithley Instruments The single-channel Model 2302 Battery Simulator and dual-channel Model 2306 Battery/Charger Simulator have been developed in particular for evaluation applications of products operated for portable use like cordless and cellular telephones, pagers and mobile radios. These accurate DC power supply devices have quick transient responses in order to have output features similar to actual power suppliers. These engage in a unique variable output reluctance in order to imitate storing of voltage via battery's response (U.S. Patent No. 6,204,647). These devices give controlled voltage outputs, even for device-under-test (DUT) which makes a quick transportation from the low current state to the high current state. Also, it features monitoring of DUT power usage by calibrating both pulse load currents and DC currents. The Model 2302's and the Model 2306's battery-simulator channel can be coded to run like a rechargeable battery, acquiring current from a different charger or from the Model 2306's charger.
