The ISOLTEST series by Layer Electronics SRL is an Earth fault detector designed for uninterrupted monitoring of the insulation resistance from device with 24 Vac or 24 Vdc. This specific tools its ideal for supplying scialytic lamps designed for operating theater and other Vdc users like photovoltaic plants. The unit functions when the insulation resistance falls below the specific value which is expressed in kohm. With this phenomenon, the device cuts in which activates the acoustic signal and optical indicator. It uses a potentionmeter which is positioned in front of the controller within 50-150 khom. Plus, it has LED for indications. The green signifies normal status and red signifies alarm status.
