The S8 Tiger is manufactured by Bruker, and is a wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer that has a TouchControl™ and SampleCare™ function, which combines an extreme easy to use and robust reliability with superior analytic performance. The TouchControl™ is essential for easy and fail-safe operation in an integrated touch screen and dedicated user interface.The SampleCare™ features an automatic recognition on samples, which has an integrated contamination shields. This protect the unit against all kinds of contamination, which guarantees a maximum up-time and availability.
The unit also has DuraBeryllium™ shield function that is highly appropriate for tube window protection. It also has a vacuum seal with high transmission window for goniometer protection. Its components are well protected, easy to access and can be cleaned with little effort.
