Particle size analyzer / laser - PSA2005A
PSA2005 is an intelligent and automatic laser particle size analyzer with a wide measurement range of from 0.05780um. The size distribution is determined by measuring the intensity of the scattered light as a function of the scattering angles, and the theoretical base of calculating is the Mie light scattering. It combines together a patented technique of Fourier transform of converging light, the design of perpendicular light paths, an unconstrained data fitting program and intelligent measurements. All these guarantee the precision of the results throughout the wide measurement range. Main Features
Principle: Particles of different sizes scatters the illuminating laser into different patterns. In this instrument He-Ne laser is used to illuminate and photon detector arrays measure the forward, sideward and backward scattered laser. Software automatically converts the patterns into size distributions.
Novel technique: It uses a patented technique of Fourier transform of converging light and the design of perpendicular light paths. Photon detector arrays measure the forward, sideward and backward scattered laser. This ensures the precision and reproducibility of the measurement results obtained from nano-particles.
