Capillary Electrophoresis or CE is known for its fast separations with excellent resolution and efficiency for new analytical challenges that are often met with difficulty by the LC. It can be used as a complementary orthogonal technology to LC, as the separation component of a CE/MS or as a standalone model.The Agilent 7100 CE system has excellent HPLC-like sensitivity to a different range of analytical challenges. On top of that, it has the advantage that it is similar to having several separation models executed in one instrument. The CE therefore allows a flexible technique used in different separation and application challenges.
