The 970 is a Portable DO2 Meter developed by Jenway specifically designed for field applications. It is capable of accurately measuring the value of the dissolved oxygen. It shows the results in percentage for air saturation and percentage or mg/l for dissolved oxygen or oxygen concentration. The measurements in temperature are automatically calibrated but, the measurements for pressure and salinity are to be corrected in a manual manner. The device comes with a single probe with integrated temperature reading to allow temperature compensation automatically. Furthermore, the meter's memory can store a maximum of 32 results for recording purposes.
