The FLK application set from Siemens will measure gas and exhaust emissions from a rotary kiln with accuracy in mind. It is specifically for cement production sites.
The application set will stay functional in some of the hottest conditions around including when gases get to be 1,400 degrees Celsius. It also lasts even when dust is prevalent and when alkalis, sulphates and chlorides start to add up all around the space. This is not a water-cooled system and as a result the probes do not have to be cleaned too often and the sampling system will not be at risk of being blocked. As a result, maintenance costs are significantly reduced.
There are more than 150 of these systems in use all over the world because they are not only functional but also easy to install. There are only six parts needed for the installation process to make it active.
