X-ray cassette - CR
GE/CR casettes are lightweight and very easy to use because of its fabricated materials that give high rigidity for general endurance which can be used particularly for NDT applications. Industrial x-ray utilizes higher radiation energies which cannot use standard medical cassettes. Hence, cassettes can be availed with built-in 250μm (0.010) front lead (Pb) screens and are always lead-backed with 150μm (0.006) to guarantee maximum backscatter protection resulting in best image quality.
