Inflatable barrier
Anti-Terrorist Boat Barriers requires a little maintenance but has an expected to have a life of more than 20 years. These pneumatic units operate at around 70mbar (1Psi) and measures 25m length and 2.4m diameter. They are being shackled together with buoys and anchor systems at pre-determined intervals. The units are delivered by a forklift and subject to final inspection before launching and tied to a mooring system. This boat barrier can absorb the boat's energy if being attacked and an internal steel cable will helps multiply the energy absorbed and the multiplied energy will be returned to the boat that will inflict a major damage to it. A range of sonar, radar and camera equipment can be installed to provide a more comprehensive protection package.
