Sandvik down-reamers offer downward bore using a pre-drilled pilot hole on the front side of it for the current opening. These reamers are ideal for cut-and-fill mining works along with bore passages into mined-out stopes that are later covered with wastage. These down-reamers are the best option for complex or hazardous areas where it is difficult to mount the reaming head from underneath.
