The Dosco LD2000 is a low height, powerful, compact backhoe miner specifically designed for advantageous manoeuvrability and flexibility in operation incorporating the latest underground mining technology.The machine is of a rugged construction and has the option to have a sectionalised bolted arrangement to facilitate on site dismantling and transportation.
The machine incorporates two-speed traction with a fail safe braking facility. This allows each track to be operated independently to enable precise positioning of the machine. In addition it has an automatic track chain tensioning system and a high capacity electrically driven articulating scraper conveyor. The boom can be fitted with a bucket, impact hammer or rotary cutter via a quick hitch facility to enable smooth, fast operation in a variety of conditions including drill and blast or rock breaking tunnels.
