With its structurally sturdy undercarriage and framework, large roller diameters, sprockets and idlers, and treated track link pin bores, the system is optimized for heavy duty digging operations.The shovel utilizes a fuel efficient Komatsu SAA12V120E-3 engine, which is capable of producing power outputs as high as 713 kW/ 956 HP. This engine model complies with EPA Tier 2 emission standards.
Also, with advanced hydraulic components, operators can thoroughly monitor engine output, as well as utilize the systems' fans with adjustable speeds. The innovative spacious cab design also allows for ergonomic shift use, along with minimized vibration and noise disturbances up to 64.5 dB.
