The Komatsu SAA6D107E-1 has a common rail direct injection, water-cooled turbocharged, after-cooled diesel engine. The emissionised 6-cylinder engine can generate a net power of 140 kW or 188 horsepower at the speed of 2.05 rpm. It is also equipped with two 12 V/140 Ah batteries, a 24 V/60 A alternator and a 24 V/5,5 kW starter motor. It also uses a double-element air filter type that comes with a monitor panel dust indicator and an auto dust evacuator. This air filter has a suction type cooling fan, as well.
