The SigmaBEND is a machine capable of fast set-up and production. It enables offline programming of a variety of press brake machines and offers full 3D simulation in the bending process. Many of the efficiencies used in the sheet metal cutting industry are brought to press brake technology. This eliminates the need for running test parts. Using the SigmaBEND provides benefits such as an enhanced production process and improved flexibility, speed and quality.
Users have the ability to interactively change the programming parameters. An interactive and automatic function can be selected for every programming step, including simulation, tool selection, bend sequencing, etc. There are different types of bending processes available, including die bending, air bending and three-point bending. Optional features including lifting aids and angle measuring tools are supported.
