The incorporation of COMX-P1022 small form factor in the Freescale QorIQ™ P1022 dual-core processor makes it a module that incorporates within itself the mechanical features and dimension of the COM Express specification. QorIQ P1022 processor is a System-on-Chip device with a host of features like USB, Gigabit Ethernet, PCI Express, general purpose I/O, memory controller and SD/MMC flash controller. The dimensions of the device are: 95 mm x 95 mm, making it ideal for several types of enclosures when they are mounted on customer carriers. It contains COMX-P1022, an off-the-shelf processor solution delivered by the world's leading embedded computing companies, thereby eliminating problems resulting from working with complex high speed processor, memory and graphic devices.
