GSM modem / industrial - ACCON-MPI-Modem
The adapter in this product series is compact and variable, being suitable for remote maintenance. Using this mode, users can connect an ACCON-MPI-Modem to a PC using the MPI interface of an S7 PLC for remote maintenance. The connection is possible using a telephone connection, while there are several application examples, including the use of the adapter as a programming adapter for monitoring change of the PLC program using modem connection.There are several application ranges, while the model and its adapter allow remote maintenance adapters to be installed into any switch cabinets. The modem uses the same communication protocol as the TS adapter, and can be used with any software that supports this adapter. The bushings at the bus plug of the modem, on the other hand, can be used to connect an extra station.
