Real-time Ethernet port multiplier - 9 port, max. 1 Gbps | CU2508
The CU2508 Real time Ethernet port multiplier enables eight independent Ethernet network connections. It is connected to the computer with a gigabit up-link. It offers excellent data transfer rates to the multiplier that applies information to 100BASE-TX which is analysis based and send them to a time controlled precision. Received frames are also designated a prefix including a stamp then sent to the PC. TwinCAT supports the CU2508 and makes further network ports at the PC unnecessary. For tremendously extreme requirements, an EtherCAT assembly can be distributed or expanded to up to eight lines and therefore providing amazingly accurate results.
