The Netgear PoE managed gigabit switch series allows management of more gigabits of power than on any Ethernet link. It comprises 24 or 48 ports of 10/100/1,000Mbps interfaces depending on the model utilized, and can support 802.3af signals working with 384 watts of power. There are eight ports that can manage 802.3at PoE+ setups and can use 30 watts per port. There are also four SFP gigabit interfaces that manage the fastest Ethernet connections available.With two 10 gigabit Ethernet SFP+ interfaces on its front plus two 10 gigabit module bays on the back to manage uplinks and local or distant stacking needs, it is perfect for many deployment functions and can handle the L2+ enterprise-class setup. This creates a secure and capable connection that is especially affordable using Layer 2 management functions and even Layer 3 lite connections with IPv4 routing support.
