Industrial Ethernet switch / managed / 10GbE / rack-mounted - max. 104 port, 10 Gbps | Summit X770 Series
Extreme Networks The Summit X770 switch is made with a unit to support 10 Gigabit Ethernet servers. This uses 40 Gigabit Ethernet-enabled servers in many forms and can particularly be useful for cloud data centers. The X770 is made to manage server deployments with 40GbE ports or breakout cables as well as fiber links to get 10GbE ports to work right. This is all to make a virtual environment easier to manage.

The Summit X770 is a switch that can use 104 10GbE ports in one unit. This can also use 816 10GbE ports in one system with a SummitStack setup. This uses three stacking options, particularly the SummitStack-160 and 320 units as well as the SummitStack-V. The 320 model uses 4 QSFP+ 40 GbE ports for 320 Gbps of stacking bandwidth. The 160 model has two ports for a 160 Gbps bandwidth while the V model sues two ports at 10 GbE that come from two ports of 40 GbE units.
