The Summit X670 series are a revolutionary kind of stack-able switches. With the extremely high performance, no other kind of switch even comes closer to these series switches when it comes to performance. It has low tenacity, high density 10 Gigabit Ethernet connection as well as 10 Gigabit Ethernet up links. These gadgets are ideal for enterprise as well as very busy data centers that handle very large volumes of data traffic. They are available in two models, namely: Summit X670 and Summit X670V. The Summit X670V is slightly different as it provides high density for 10 Gigabit Ethernet in small 1RU factor. In a stacked system, the switch is able to support up to 448 ports while in one system it can support up to 64 ports. On the other hand, the X670 provides up to 48 ports in one system and up to 352 ports in a stacked system.
