The routers are the logical divisor of the bus architecture particularly when the individual bus subscribers are physically separated over a long distance, while the bridges are the links to rapid data transfer that increases the number of bus subscribers and the network's overall length. On the other hand, the gateways are the once that connects PSS 4000 to the third-party control systems.
