The ROTA THW plus, manufactured by Schunk, is a wedge bar power chuck that guarantees the integration of quick jaw change system along with a standard exchangeable center sleeve system through its versatility attribute. With the quick jaw change system, revamp of the jaws after a jaw change is no longer required. This device is available in 3-jaw chuck versions with a size of 165 - 630 mm. Furthermore, it consists of tongue and groove top and base jaws that are compatible to the Reishauer system.

The ROTA NCS power chuck from SCHUNK works with the active pull-down of the jaws. This hermetically sealed power chuck is ideal for applications that deal with internal and external clamping. The pendulum mechanism is incorporated at the 6-jaw chuck, and the size of the chuck must be chosen in accordance with the size of the workpiece. This ensures that the workpiece is centered amid the 6-contact points which are adjustable in couples, and that pre-machined works are centered without damage. 250 to 500 millimeter jaw versions are available, with the base jaws being SRK tongue and groove and the top jaws being of the SRK type.

QJR10 is designed with 254mm has three jaws that can be changed frequently through the hole power chuck. The Chucks are manufactured with optimum quality alloy steel. The quick alteration of chuck can deliver more speed and consistent gripping force with standard bore size. Large bore chucks are fitted according to the Kitagawa standards. An optional base jaw is available to serve as common cross tenon top jaws. It features identical mounting dimensions to BB210 and B210 without any expensive connector or cylinder.
The hole is 81 mm in diameter and the gripping range in mm is 254 max xx min. Diameter of the jaw stroke is 8.8 mm and the plunger stroke is 19 mm. Maximum input force is 60kN, 6118 kgf and the dynamic gripping force at maximum speed is 45kN. 135 kN, 13766 kgf is the maximum gripping force. Maximum speed is 4500 rpm with 37.9kg weight. The moment of inertia is tbc with SS1881K matching cylinder. Permissible oil pressure is tbc and the SB10A1, KSJ10 and HB10A1 are standard metric top jaws.
