Water-jet cutting machine - SM-800-WJ
The SM-800-WJ is a plotter for mechanized 2D or 3D water jet cutting applications. The model has a sturdy construction made of steel and aluminum that has been specifically developed to take on even demanding cutting operations. Motion is produced by a re-circulating ball screw mechanism with four servo motors. The servo motors have embedded electronics on the X, Y, and Z axes.The SM-800-WJ can be installed with an intensifier pump with power ratings ranging from 15 HP up to 50 HP. The water jet beam with diameter that measures a fraction of a millimeter has the capacity to cut complex patterns on elements that are not appropriate for cutting with conventional tools. The worktop can be installed with a vacuum system to minimize humidity.
