The EATON Stationary Off-Line Filter Units provide optimal performance to oil-service gears with lubricants of high viscosity for the off-line filtration. Designed with a base plate without tube for the small dimensions and the high reliability. The filter take oil from a reservoir connected by a hose to clean it from contaminants. The purified oil is pumped into the intended reservoir. Made to last even the harshest working condition that can cause premature wear of the gear pump.With built-in stationary filter units USP 20-320 with plate heat exchanger are intended for oil maintenance and for oil cooling on hydraulic systems.

The compact UKF cooling filter circuit in the bypass flow unit is easily installed. Prolong the life of the oil in a hydraulic system and the system itself with constant cooling and filtration in the bypass flow. There are three sizes available. The UKF1 has up to 10kW cooling ability, the UKF2 has up to 30kW cooling ability and the UKF3 has up to 90kW cooling ability.

The temperature remains constant and is not linked to the hydraulic system cycle times. It offers flow rates that are uniform, no pressure surges in the heat exchanger and the ability to replace the filter without the need to shut the hydraulic system down.

It is also called kidney loops or re-circulation loops since it allows continuous re-circulating flow of fluid from the reservoir through the filter and back to the reservoir. It is perfect for applications like in pulp and paper mill equipment, huge central hydraulic power units, injection molding equipment, extrusion machines, etc. It is an economical solution for filter housings needs because it uses lower pressures that reduces total system expenses. This filtration unit is compatible with heat exchangers to guarantee proper viscosity and fluid oxidation rates. It also allows secure and convenient shutdown for filter elements replacement.
