Manual filter press - MACSALAB
Eriez MACSALAB filter presses are widely used in mining and metallurgical laboratories for slurry dewatering, solid/liquid separation, etc. The presses include a fabricated steel base and 304 stainless steel yoke, with 316 stainless steel vessels available on customized order. Included as standard are a fast release air coupling and a fill and pressure relief valve. Their operation mechanism includes placing the sample on the vessel, shutting the lid and applying compressed air at approximately 600 kPa. As a result, the liquid drains away via a discharge nozzle placed at the vessel's base, while keeping theory solid inside.
