The Ruhstrat Low voltage dry-type transformers are designed based with its relatively having the EC directives. It is manufactured by encompassing the following features: a single-phase or three-phase design with separate winding or auto-winding and with water or air heat exchanger or as an oil transformer. This transformers integrate a power ranging from 40 VA up to 2MVA, can steplessly regulate voltages in the output when combined to the variable transformers. The degrees of protection of this dry-type generator are IP 00, IP 20/IP 23 with steel-sheet enclosure and the voltage value up to 10KV.

The Cast resin transformer from Ruhstrat is equipped with high quality materials such as aluminum and copper coil with band and foil technology. It is also equipped with grain-oriented electric sheets.

Its power range can go up to 8 mVA, and its voltage goes up to a maximum of 35 kV. The unit runs on AN/AF cooling that is protected by IP 00 up to IP 55. This unit complies with VDE 0532 and IEC 600076 standarnds.

Amorphous core transformers uses metal for its transformer core, thus achieving better transformer efficiency. Its improved magnetic properties and the material's physical dimensions, hysteresis and eddy current losses are greatly lessen. With the use of amorphous metal cores, transformer core loss can be minimized by more than 60 %. For the customer, this means vastly reduced energy consumption and costs over the service lifetime of the transformer.
